iPad Cover Crochet Pattern Giveaway -- Messenger Style Cover

By now you all know me well enough to know that if I'm going to try out a project, I have to try it umpteen ways before I decide on the one I like.  The successful tries get turned into patterns.  (The unsuccessful tries usually get thrown in the dress-up box for the girls!)

This is my favorite -- so far -- of the electronics covers.  This one has a pretty texture and a messenger-style closure.  This is a cover that can double as a cute crocheted bag if you crochet a simple strap for it.  LOVE it!  I used mine this morning to hold all the diapers and other miscellaneous crap stuff that we took to the doctor's office when we got our flu shots.

For entries, let's hear some of the stuff for which you'd like to see patterns made for Christmas.  We changed our Thanksgiving plans, so I'm now going to have a whole week to enjoy crocheting instead of running around like a chicken, packing, travelling, and cooking.  I need inspiration!

Oh, I think this one is MY favourite too, love that style of bag :>

Christmas, oh, I can't believe it's rushing at us so fast! my grandson's first, but he's not brand new any more, which is going to be so much fun!

I would love to see a funky elf style hat that I could take pictures of his whole family in, WITH EARS! something striped that I could do variations of, but still look like a 'set' if that makes sense...

Thanks again for the amazing patterns :> you rock my yarn world !

I would love to see patterns for different types of flowers. I usually end up using the same flower for everything and it is getting a little old.

I would love this pattern! Some ideas for Christmas patterns that would make great gifts (other than this awesome bag) would be a travel mug cozy, beautiful rich detailed scarf or a cowl! All make me think of keeping warm in the cold weather. :)

I love, love, LOVE the ipad covers and think these are really the cat's meow for stocking stuffers.

I don't know about size but my granddaughter has an ipod touch and this would be great if it had a strap that she could hang around her neck like a lanyard type holder.

I haven't made any of the eggs yet but depending on size, I think one with a Christmas motif would make a great holder / bowl for Christmas Cards, walnuts, etc.

A chunky tree skirt that works up fast would be cool.

And the ultimate would be an adult cocoon [hint, hint]... a really, really big one. I'll pass on the matching hat

Maybe something inspired by my 2 favorite Christmas movies: the grinch & the Christmas story.
