The truth of the matter is that I had no intention of starting a blog for Sunset Crochet. When I started working in Etsy in earnest back in March, I never dreamed that this little endeavor would be as successful as it has been. It has been such a blessing for my little family, and I'm so grateful for the support of everyone who has made this happen.
Yesterday we surpassed 1,000 fans on facebook. That's a huge milestone! Today we're going to be doing a day of giveaways, but because of facebook's guidelines on using their page for giveaways, I needed to start a blog. With as many giveaways as I have planned today, something was bound to get noticed by facebook, and I didn't want the headache of dealing with them.
So it begins.

Bonnie, Congratulations to you!!! I am so amazed at all the work you put into your patterns. I pass your name on to every crocheter I know! You inspire me and I love watching your business grow because I started selling just about at the same time. Can't wait to see just how big you become! :)
